Franconia Notch State Park. Located in the heart of the White Mountain National Forest,
Franconia Notch is a mountain pass extending from Flume Gorge at the south to Echo
Lake at the north. The New England Ski Museum is located here, along with hawks and
falcons and spectacular 360-degree views.
Cruise Squam Lake. Science Center Lake Cruises will take you on a 90-minute excursion
around beautiful Squam Lake, the area where the movie "On Golden Pond" was filmed.
