The Windrifter is a rustic 18th-century New England inn located in Wolfeboro. The resort is set on the eastern side of Lake Winnipesaukee. A variety of summer water activities are available in the surrounding Lakes Region, and winter sports can be found in the nearby White Mountains. Enjoy a renovated indoor pool, tennis court, and saunas on site. The 18-hole Kingswood Golf Course borders the resort. Numerous antiques shops, shopping malls, outlet stores, restaurants, and tourist attractions can be found nearby.

The nearest airport is 60 miles away in Manchester, New Hampshire. Take I-93 North to Concord, NH. Take exit 15 to I-393 to Routes 202-4-9 East to the Epsom traffic circle and Route 28 North to the Alton traffic circle and Wolfeboro. From Boston, take I-95 north to Portsmouth, New Hampshire. Go west on Spaulding Turnpike to Rochester. Take Exit 15 to the left and on to Route 11. Turn right on Route 11 to Alton and right on Route 28 to Wolfeboro. The resort is on the left approximately 15 minutes from the circle.
