Weirs Beach is a small village located in Historic New England within the city of Laconia. It is situated on the southern shore of Lake Winnipesaukee; Weirs Beach refers to a wide sandy beach on this lake. Next to the beach, in the center of the village, are a boulevard and a boardwalk that stretch along a quarter of a mile. A large, public dock is available for boaters on the lake and rental boats can be obtained. The Weirs Beach area offers a drive-in movie theater, a Playhouse, and a water slide.
