The Village Green at Stowe

Stowe is home to Mt. Mansfield, Vermont's highest mountain, and Spruce Peak is a great beginner and intermediate ski mountain. It has over 200 miles of interconnected cross country ski trails and an average annual snowfall of 260 inches. Stowe is also the home of the Von Trapp family of "The Sound of Music" fame. Two of New England's best trout-fishing rivers border Stowe, and there are over 50 restaurants in the town itself. Stowe offers visitors a variety of activities and events in every season.
