From Mancelona (US131), travel west on M-88 approximately 10 miles to Shanty Creek Road. Make a right onto Shanty Creek Road and continue about a mile. Turn right into the resort at Summit Village entrance (across from the entrance to the Chief Golf Course, large carved Indian head). Take the first left and continue to 4-way stop sign. "Real Estate" and "Vacation Club Check-in Center" signs are on the corner. Pass stop sign, and parking lot is first driveway on the right. If you anticipate a late arrival, please contact the resort in advance for special instructions.

The Vacation Club in Bellaire, MI, is surrounded by some of Northern Michigan's best outdoor attractions. Close to Lake Michigan itself, you can explore the Great Lake and famous sand dunes, as well as Bellaire Lake and the many activities it offers. There are five premier golf courses including Arnold Palmer's The Legend and a course designed by Tom Weiskopf. In the winter, take your pick of dozens of trails for downhill and cross-country skiing and other winter sports. There are plenty of restaurants and premier sight-seeing areas such as nearby Traverse City.
