NEAREST AIRPORT: Kittila 52 km. From Kittila airport drive towards Kittila village. Just before Kittila turn right and follow the signs to Akaslompolo. After approx. 15km turn right and after a further 25 km turn left still following signs to Akaslompolo. Check-in located in Ylläs Avain address: Tunturintie 16 A, 95970 Äkäslompolo. The building is new and located beside shopping center: Jounin kauppakeskus. There is a bus service from Kittilia airport. Taxis should be booked at least 3 hrs before arriving in Kittilia. BY TRAIN: From Helsinki to Kolari. From the station there is a bus connection.

There are buses to the ski slopes during high season only; therefore a car is essential to fully enjoy the area in summer and autumn.
