TaraNova’s Villas Palmas is a small 13 unit complex centrally located in San Jose, Costa Rica only a few blocks from a Casino, shopping plaza and restaurants. Most of our guests find that Villas Palmas is a perfect location to use as a home-base to eco-tour the country of Costa Rica! Most tours leave early in the morning and do not return until early evening. (Rain forest, jungle tour, white water rafting, volcanoes, hot spa, coffee plantation, beach, etc). This is a City Resort and is approximately 2 hours from the coast. There is a small unheated pool at the resort with no other amenities on site. Staying at Villas Palmas is a great way to see the beauty of Costa Rica while staying at a conveniently located, friendly complex!

The complex is a clean, simply furnished, Costa Rican functional place to stay. This resort is appropriate for families wishing to tour Costa Rica. The units are large. 3 bedroom units have 2 floors, 2 sitting areas and 2.5 bathrooms. Full kitchen and dining area. There are 2 TVs in each unit. There are only 1or 2 stations that are in English, the rest are in Spanish. The 3 bedroom units are on two levels, sleep 8 and have 2.5 bathrooms. The bedrooms are on the second level. The master bedroom has a bathroom with shower/tub and there is a 3 piece bathroom (no tub) on the second level to service the other bedrooms. There is a small powder room on the main level. The 2 bedroom unit, sleep 6, is on the second floor with a 4 piece bathroom to service the bedrooms and a 2 piece powder room.

Excellent location to use as a home-base to eco-tour the country of Costa Rica. This is a small urban resort with only a small unheated pool. This is not a resort to sit and lounge. Most guests take tours leaving in the early morning and return early evening. Centrally located in the country of Costa Rica, minutes to the center of the City of San Jose. Casino, shopping & restaurants 3 blocks away. On-site tour company.
