BY AIR: Nearest Airport: Lamezia Terme 60kms. BY ROAD: From the airport follow the signs to the motorway A3, and then travel south towards Reggio Calabria. Exit at Pizzo. Follow the SECOND sign to Tropea that takes you to the main road for about 30km. Once in Tropea, turn right before the tunnel to Tropea Centro and from here follow signs to Villaggio L'Olivara. BY PUBLIC TRANSPORT: Taxi from airport to Lamezia Terme station, train to Tropea, then taxi from station to resort.

Shuttle service to the Airport: Yes

Many tours are possible from Olivara Village, including a motorboat trip to the Aeolian islands; by boat along the Costa Degli Dei; or by minibus or bus coach to Taormina, Reggio Calabria, Pizzo Calabro (with Castle "Murat" and the Piedigrotta cave), and Vibo Valentia (featuring the Norman Castle and the Ethnographic Museum).
