The resort overlooks the ruins of the famous Arabic castle "Sohail," with the Mediterranean Sea to the front and mountains to the rear. Fuengirola is a bustling town with an open-air market every Tuesday throughout the year. Facilities within Marina del Sol include three large swimming pools, tennis courts, bars, restaurants, a game room, and a children's playground.

Approx. 2kms after Fuengirola passing the castle Sohail,a camping site and a petrol station take the next turn right (sharp bend) into Urb. Marina del Sol. The reception is well signposted from here.
