NEAREST AIRPORT: MANCHESTER 70 MILES. From Manchester take the M56 West to the M6. Take M6 North and exit at junction 33 signed Lancaster South (resort is approx. 5 miles from here). At first roundabout, turn left on the A6 signed Garstang. After approx. 1 mile, turn right at crossroads signed Cockerham. Turn right at T junction signed Cockerham. At Cockerham turn right on A588, signed Lancaster. Continue for approx 2 miles to Thurnham Hall. The resort is on the right hand side, immediately after the row of cottages. Please note that the entrance to the resort is set back off the road side.BY TRAIN: Train from London Euston to Lancaster, then taxi to resort.

Thurnham Hall is a few miles from the historical county town of Lancaster with its medieval castle. The cultural centre of Lancaster offers theatre and concert entertainments. Within easy driving distance is the southern lake district, a popular tourist destination with spectacular lakes and mountain scenery. Thurnham Hall is also ideally situated for day visits to the Yorkshire Dales. The year round entertainment centre and seaside town of Blackpool is a short drive away.
