Val Thorens is the highest ski resort in Europe, situated at an altitude of 1.4 miles (2300 meters) that guarantees a high-mountain atmosphere and exceptional snow conditions. The three valleys , ("Les Trois Vallées"), Courchevel/La Tania, Meribel, Les Menuires/Saint Martin de Belleville, and Val Thorens, comprise the largest ski area in the world.
