Dubbed a 'mini-mecca for the arts'by The Wall Street Journal, downtown Tucson boasts
its own symphony, ballet, opera and theater companies. The Center for Creative Photography
at the University of Arizona boasts the foremost collection of Ansel Adams in the
country. Forty minutes from downtown, the Pima Air and Space Museum is the biggest
privately funded air museum in the world with more than 200 vintage and modern aircraft.
More than 35 golf courses are in the vicinity, with one of the best–The Golf Club
at Vistoso–right around the corner. For kids (or kids-at-heart) who've always dreamed
of being cowboys, Old Tucson, part movie set, part Western theme park, is a must-see.
The climate and surroundings are perfect for golf, biking, rock-climbing, bird-watching,
and stargazing.
