Canaltime at Sawley Marina is a unique vacation that lets you plan your own trip through England's in-land waterways around Nottingham. There is so much to do and see, along with the pleasure of journeying on the Trent and Mersey canals, and wandering through the stunning Derbyshire countryside. There are plenty of tours to take to see historic and scenic villages, whether you go by foot, horseback or cycle. - Parties of 6 must have 3 active adults, parties of 4 must have 2 active adults.Knowledge of English is required. Reception Area: Please enter Sawley Marina through the main gate and drive slowly towards the far end of the main car park. It will probably be easier to walk from this point.
- Fees or deposits are charged for some amenities.
- Someone should let the reception staff know that you have arrived. Please walk between the restaurant and the Chandlery bearing to the right. Walk straight down past the offices and retail units on the right hand side, past the conveniences in the direction of the boat yard and the reception office is on the right hand side.
- Occupancy limits are strictly enforced: could result in forfeiture of the unit and/or other penalties.
- Fees charged for some utilities.
- REFUNDABLE DEPOSIT OF 500GBP IS TAKEN ON ARRIVAL FOR ANY DAMAGE TO BOATS THAT IS NOT COVERED BY THE DAMAGE WAIVER. A DAMAGE WAIVER OF 50GBP CAN BE TAKEN OUT
- Cruising is not always available – not only through planned maintenance stoppages but also through closures in poor weather conditions.Please watch the training video before you arrive: www.canal-video.co.uk. up to 2 small pets are allowed. Fees will be charged: 1st pet £45 and 2nd £35.
