BY AIR: Madeira Int.- 22km. BY ROAD: Take dual carriageway west to Funchal. Continue for 16km, following signs for the Hospital. Stay left and merge with next dual carriageway. Continue to the sea front until you pass Repsol petrol station. Filter to the right hand lane, take 2nd exit at the roundabout for the Hospital. Continue down the hill, turn right at the traffic lights, proceed over brigde keeping to the left and go straight over at next two sets of lights. Continue for 700 mts until signs for Monumental Lido. Filter left onto the traffic island and turn immediate right. Pass hotels Porto Mare, Melia and Enotel- you will see resort immediately in front of you.
