Cortina (1224m) is one of the most prestigious areas for a holiday, surrounded by majestic mountains such as Croda Rossa, Tofane, Fanis and Cristallo. A year-round resort, Cortina is known as the Queen of the Dolomites, boasting a wonderful array of ski slopes (160km), winter sports facilities and clear mountain air for summer walkers. This area was once the setting of the Winter Olympic Games. Interesting excursions include lake of Misurina, Tre Lavaredo Cime, Pieve di Cadore and summer skiing at Marmolada glacier (about two hours by car).

Directions To Resort: BY AIR: Venezia airport, 140 Kms. BY CAR: From Venice Airport take the road towards the motorway and then take motorway A27 to Vittorio Veneto / Belluno. At the end of motorway continue following signs to Cortina D'Ampezzo. At Tai di Cadore turn left and travel a further 25 Kms. 4 Kms before arriving in Cortina, soon after IP petrol station take the first small road on the right hand side (the one with the green railing) taking you up the hill. The resort is on the left hand side (opposite the Olympic ski jump).
