SKI & MOUNTAIN VACATION

WORLD FAMOUS DESTINATIONS

Stay at some of the worlds most famous ski destinations, in accommodations that allow everyone to relax and recover from another day on the slopes.

COLORADO

ATTAIN EXHILARATION IN THE HIGHEST STATE

Every season in Colorado holds a special place in vacationers hearts. Winter brings fresh powder to some of the worlds most celebrated ski destinations (think Vail and Beaver Creek), while summer brings an entirely different slate of must-dos (backpacking, river rafting and fly fishing, to name a few).

VERMONT

DOWNHILL THRILLS AWAIT

Skiing in Vermont isnt just an activity: it's a lifestyle that locals and frequent visitors have wholeheartedly adopted. Its about the hunt for the perfect stretch of powder. Its about spending your days flying down a Green Mountains slope and your nights enjoying a delectable meal from an award-winning restaurant.

CANADA - WESTERN

EXPERIENCE FOUR-SEASON PERFECTION

Western Canada is a four-season paradise where visitors can explore snow-capped mountains, boat on whale-filled waters, and play golf on legend-designed courses. Conde Nast Traveler recently named Vancouver Island the top North American island - and Vancouver and Victoria the Americas second and third best cities.

CANADA - EASTERN

ATTEND NATURES ANNUAL PARADE

Every fall visitors travel thousands of miles to witness Eastern Canadas Technicolor show. The maples serve as the opening act, reaching their colorful peak from mid-September to early-October. The aspens, tamaracks and red oaks follow suit, saving their grand finale until about mid-October.

SALT LAKE CITY

CITY OR COUNTRY, FUN IS CLOSE AT HAND

In this four-season playground, outdoor adventure is never far away. During the colder months, thrill-seekers have quick access to the Wasatch Mountains seven stellar ski resorts. As summer approaches, activities switch to mountain biking, hiking, golfing, camping and river canoeing.

LAKE TAHOE

THE SKI (AND SUMMER) PLACE TO BE

Here where California and Nevada meet, the seasons come and go, but the excitement never ends. Lake Tahoes death-defying ski runs simply give way to majestic mountain waterfalls. Snow-capped peaks turn into water parks. The lake itself (the largest Alpine lake in North America) becomes a 193-square-mile boating and fis
1. Choose ski accommodations that best fit your individual needs. Many Endless Vacations resorts put you right on the ski resort, or just a short shuttle ride from the slopes. Other EVRentals resorts serve as quiet escapes far from the busy ski village atmosphere.
2. Ski seasons change frequently. Check with the resort before you book to determine the latest dates and conditions.
3. Dont want to go to the hassle, and expense, of checking your skis with the airline? Consider renting at your destination.
4. Confirm your travel and activity reservations before you leave. If you think youll arrive after the scheduled check-in time, notify your resort and find out if any special instructions are needed.
5. If you'll be leaving the country, make two copies of each traveler's passport. Leave one copy with a friend or family member; take the other with you and store it in your resort safe.
6. Check the weather at your destination a day or two before your departure. Many websites, such as www.weather.com, offer quick and easy ways to access a forecast almost anywhere.
7. Pack important items in your carry-on that you may need if your bags get delayed (medications, travel documents, etc.).
8. If you are driving (or renting a car to get from airport to resort), consider visiting a website such as www.mapquest.com for directions and approximate driving times. Then have a GPS or road atlas handy, if possible, to help for those times when you accidently venture off course.
9. Make sure you also have a car capable of traversing snowy, mountainous terrain. Your resort can tell you whether things such as four-wheel drive, snow tires, or high clearance are needed.
10. You may be headed to a ski resort with the comforts of home, but that doesn't mean you have to take your home with you. Assuming your location isnt too remote, consider purchasing several items during a quick visit to the grocery store.
